Our Story
SIPs Madison was created in 2016 after Hurricane Michael struck northwest Florida. Madison, Florida was especially hard hit. Local business leaders started meeting as many of their businesses and buildings were destroyed or severely damaged and they wanted to rebuild with stronger construction materials. It turns out that the evolving Structural Integrated Panel (SIPs) industry had the solution: affordable, nearly indestructible, energy-efficient building panels. SIPs panels may be the answer, but they were too expensive to ship to north central Florida. Time to think outside the “panel.” The group went into action to launch their own MgO SIPs factory.
